In 2013, ARISS (at the time denominated as Osservatorio dell’Asia Orientale) organized a six-months-long workshop on scenario planning for twelve students.¬†Specifically, the workshop was designed to cover the theoretical foundations of scenario planning methodologies and apply them to the case of study of Sino-American relations in the coming decade.¬†A modified version of Shell’s STEEP analysis was thought and used during the course.

The course was organized with the support and guidance of Professor Giovanni Andornino (vice-president of the Torino World Affairs Institute).
